Costa Rican Tarrazu

This Costa Rican Tarrazu comes from a multi-generational growers responsible for the cultivation and milling of the finest Tarrazu coffees that comprise the Puma. The Tarrazu region is best known for a coffee having a more pronounced acidity adn snappy kick compared to those grown in other parts of the country. The Tarrazu Puma is grown in volcanic soil at altitudes ranging from 3,000 - 5,000ft. The coffee is processed at the La Eva mill where it is hand sorted and either sun dried or mechanically dried depending on weather and precipitation.

Our skilled Master Roasters use small-batch drum roasters to apply a specific roast profile to each variety of coffee to develop its unique flavor characteristics.
